Amazing car. Be sure to take it to some proper tracks too.

I'm fortunate to have driven a Scura round the nurburgring and also at Spa. It was astonishingly good.

I have an Elise sportsracer (111R with uprated suspension) and the Scura is in a totally different league.

Even on the straights a new 911 GT3 struggled to pull away.

The Scura goes like it looks. Amazing.

Is it a paint job, or a wrap?

Doesn't it come with a special brush to clean it, too?!

Tony is such a bh smile

"Scura" is Italian for dark according the Lotus press release and apparently there are 35 cars world wide of which 5 have been sold in the UK market. I also read that some of the cars have "Stealth" rather than "Scura" badging in some of the markets.

The car is registered as a 260 Cup but less extreme i.e. no carbon dash, or carbon roof, or fire extinguisher, or harness.
The seats are very comfortable and I am considering fitting a harness bar to the car which is one of my questions, i.e. will an Exige S2 harness bar fit and if so to what? What about the lap belt mounts, where do they go. My 2004 Exige had the harnesses fitted but I can remember how or where the belts were mounted!

I'm going to get a rear number plate with "No it's not a wrap" written along the bottom of it. smile

Regarding cleaning it, the dealer gave me some special stuff to clean it with so as I am not going home until tomorrow night and it is already very dusty after a weekend on a field at the Corvette Nationals I will try and clean it then.

The rear boot is even smaller than my old S2 Exige as this one has an Accusump fitted into it!

Ha ha! Blame those scoundrels at Ford, with a very similar effect achieved by that means.
