Apparently you order online and a mobile fitter comes to your house and fits the tyres.

Anyone any experience of using them? (I am thinking of a set of tyres for the S1)

Yep but not on the Lotus, on my every day drive. Service was good, price good so recomended as far as I am concerned.

Used them for the rears on my europa.

Very convenient, very well priced and quick.

The chap that did mine wasnt in a boiler suit, and he had clean hands.

I will use them again for certain.

Not sure if its a franchise or not - so I may just be lucky !!

I got some ku31s for the elise, and couldn't fault them. Tuned up on time, knew where all the jacking points were without having to be told... Plus you can pay by card at the side of the road.

Top marks from me

Not used them with the Lotus but had them supply and fit T1R's on my Pulsar. The fitter was excellent and showed me how badly out of shape my alloys were (new ones were ordered the same day).

Would happily use them again.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback on Event Tyres. Good customer recommendations are so important to our business. And of course if we get something wrong it's important that we hear about that too.

Jondude - if you have any questions then don't hesitate to get in touch either through this thread, on Twitter @event_tyres or even the old fashioned way on the phone 08702 407787.

I've used Event for years, never ever had a problem with them, either on the BMWs or the 911.

Recommended.

Had to call them in for a mate who had lost a tyre on the M4 and his phone was dying. EMT took my call, met him on the M4 and fixed him right up.

All good in my book

Thanks all. Also for the contact numbers, Sonia.

I am in the process of ordering online and it is all easy and straightforward. I will let you know how it goes.

Excellent job and service (prices, too).

I ordered late via the net, next morning I was called to tell me the order was fine and accepted, and that the fitter would call me the next day (my chosen day) when he was close to ready.

Sure enough, early morning call and within 60 minutes he is here and doing the car. Knew jacking points and took good care at all times.

Very happy and do not intend going elsewhere now.thumbup
