288mm Discs for bells with same pattern as AP5000 series
Discussion
I want to stick some 2 part discs on the rear of my VX220, I have a spare set of alloy bells for AP295 discs, the AP5000 series 12 bolt patern. Alcon also do 295 discs with the same pattern. My problem is the VX220 rear hubs are one piece cast affairs so I can't just fit new brackets to move the caliper out so i'm stuck with 288mm rear discs. Does anyone know of any 288mm discs withthe same bolt pattern as the AP/Alcons so I can use the bells I have?
Alternatively anyone know if VX and Elise rear hub carriers are interchangeable (I suspect not), in an ideal world i'd be putting 295 discs on the rear?

You seem to be making hard work of this!
Nobody makes 288 disks, however, 290 are about and fit just fine.
Elise uprights will not help, they use the same spacing.
Eliseparts sell 290 AP's that will fit.
Cheers for the info on the AP290's.Nobody makes 288 disks, however, 290 are about and fit just fine.

I see the GT rear uprights at Elise parts, very expensive but any idea if they could replace the rear VX uprights and carry the VX hub? I could also go for the EP/Hispec rear caliper at the same time so end up shedding a good deal of weight and fit the 295 discs I have sat in the garage.

Spoken to Elise parts, the AP290 disks are indeed 8 bolt pcd so I'd need to buy new bells. Other options are GT rear uprights that do indeed take VX bearing packs with either brembo caliper or the EP twin pot caliper for the road. Both also require the uprates towlink kits. So expensive but will balance the brakes out, loose a shed load of weight with the ep calipers and improve suspension geometry for lowered cars...
