Will it fit?

Access to my garage requires the vehicle to be manouvered up over a 6 inch kerb. Does an Elise have the ground clearance for this? (the answer is surely no ) in which case I would have to fabricate some sort of ramp. The kerbstones are set in concrete, I put them there

Im having to drop me kerb a couple of inches myself this summer - I can just get on/off it now...but plan on Nitrons later this year so down the kerb must go !

Nitrons = adjustable upgraded suspension ....lower ride height = car wont get onto my drive ...over the large concrete ramp I put there myself years ago....doh !

You don't need to (shouldn't) drop the car too much with the current generation of Nitrons, in fact probably only 10-15mm from standard . . . granted this may still be too much !

Whats wrong with you big wooses 100/110mm ride height is the way to go (and thats after I rased it)!!

100/110 is fine for going over speed bumps etc just be careful when you park front on to a kerb.

Well, unless you have shorter Nitrons than are generally available . . . or very early ones . . . they are not designed to be run at that ride height, according to Nitron themselves . . . the comment is nothing to do with speed bumps or ground clearance . . . it's to do with the damper open, closed and stroke lengths, the springrates and the damping . . .

Sure, you can do it . . . but that's not the same thing . . .

On a more sensible note .... tut tut...

No it will not fit in forwards. However you will stand a much better chance in backing it in (my garage is on a downward slope with a 4" step where I have no problems).
