Has anny one fitted a fast road cam kit to there elise
i ma thinking of fitting one to my 01 elise but keep getting told all sorts of differnt things.
Some say they are worth the monney some say thay are not.
If any one a can shed some light on this matter it would be well recived.
I have all ready fitted the normal parts exhaust,induction,bigger throttle body,ect.

I had Piper 633s fitted with a big valve head - took my car from 135bhp to 162bhp. The idle was a bit lumpy though (std ECU) and its on the limit of the std ECU

Id go for some Piper 270s and verniers to time them with - you''ll notice more of a real difference than every bolt on youve done so far put together

Yep - with the 633s I did...it seemd to shift the curve up a little - thats why Id recommend the 270s - you may *only* make 150-55bhp (with head also) but the torque lower down is improved over a std car

no worries

make sure you get at least a single vernier pulley to time them correctly - you should gain a *real* 10-15bhp

You really need 2 verniers to get the timing correct . . .

Regardless of the fact that almost everybody will sell you a kit with only one . . .
