some people have left it for more than that and it has been fine.

Is it a standard battery? (tungestone?) when was it last changed (if at all?)

I recently changed mine and have left it for nearly 3.5 weeks and it was completely fine.

Two weeks is about the limit if the alarm is set. It might be worth investing in a trickle charger. Halfords do a Draper one for c. £20 iirc, but this is only very basic.

Come to think of it, an elise battery is much like edible panties.

Gentleman, let me elaborate:

They both are weaker than their traditional/normal counterparts, They both are found on sleek and sexy bodies (unless a munta makes a home-made pair of bloomers from spam poor spam ) and they both would melt from a combination of fange-juice and sweat. Probably.

Indeed the analogy is striking.

Can you tell im in a good mood? (another one down, 3 exams to go )

You can extend the battery life by a considerable margin by disabling the internal microwave sensor by pressing the small button on the remote after setting the alarm. You'll hear a short confirmation beep.
The alarm still gives full protection if the roof is on.

The longest I've left her with alarm on is a month. The second time I did this it was dead after I tried to start.

Revived the battery with a Halfords charger (£30 odd, on special offer at the moment I think), I've since left it without the alarm (it is protected by some nasty looking dog & his owner though) and it's been lasting 3 weeks+ no problem.

I've learned to drive around with a cigarette lighter charger though (Halfords, about £10) as a precaution though.
