My Elise Cartelistic Converter has started rattling like no bodies business, had a good look this weekend and the inner casing has broken away! I reckon it could still get through a MOT, so will keep it and purchase a Cat replacement pipe - is the Janspeed the best one?

They're all the same, just a piece of tube with a flange on either end - get a SS one so it won't rot.

If the cat is blowing they might fail it anyway - check it first and get a sports cat instead of the CRP gives the benefits without the hassle of changing at MOT time.
