Metal (Steel) Coolant Link Pipe

Looking to find out what other folk have done with the metal coolant pipe which runs from the passenger side of the head over to the throttle body side.

Mine has some surface rust on it so am marginally concerned it could fracture.

Have you
a)Cleaned up painted and re-used
b)Replaced with a new steel one (can you still buy it?)
