In-take "pop" sound..

I'm curious to what causing a sound I've heard both in my Sagaris and T350.

It sounds like a large amount of air is "popped" out of the in-take, it happens mostly below 60c oil (below 3000rpm as she is "cold") with medium throttle.

The engineer in me would love to know the reason behind the sound

Could it be a backfire from the TB's being out of tune?

I'd be removing the air box and having a look...

Yep, that's what I'd go with too, TB balance.
