Ah I have got one of these somewhere that I used to use for blancing old SU carbs. Should do the trick ?http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDeta...
You do not need two, just make sure that you clean the throttle bodies first and then adjust to get all balanced, trial and error after measuring all. You may have to make an extention for the one closest to the bulk head. Just be careful taking off airbox that you do not drop the spacers. (Suggest a cable tie round them with the long piece being held onto, also helps fitting back in!)
Then adjust idle, as it will potentially move with balance.
Good luck.

What about using a Laptop to set zero positions ?Then adjust idle, as it will potentially move with balance.
Good luck.
- And is the procedure written down anywhere ?
