Variable cam timing or something?

Mine is quick up to 3.5-4k RPM then it just goes nuts, as in, st yourself acceleration and sound.

It's just been serviced so everything running spot on and really really smooth.

No variable cam timing, just cam timing optimised for higher engine speeds, hence why it takes off above 4k rpm. smile

Peak torque on 3.6 is 303 ft lbs @ 5000 rpm and 328 ft lbs @ 4500 rpm on 4 litre thats why it pulls so well in the mid range peak power on 3.6 is 335 bhp @ 7000 and 342 bhp @ 6500 for the 4 litre
