How can a business park and the streets on it not be on Tom Tom maps when it was built many years ago ?
That is just 1 of many examples of Tom Tom not being up to date.

Do others have similar bad experiences of Tom Tom and are others eg Garmin, any better ?

Never had a huge problem with tomtom, I keep my maps up to date. The only places I find a bit of an issue with is new road layouts/juntions it seems to take them a while to catch up.

Their maps are stupidly overpriced though. I'm going to France, Italy and then Switzerland on a trip soon. The Europe maps for TomTom one cost £50!! So I managed to buy a reconditioned sat nav with 2011 maps for Europe off ebay for £40 delivered.

Never had a problem with TT. A new section of road was opened near to me last year and the TT map had been updated within a month of opening.

No probs with TT, but tried to tell them that the Uk wineeries are not in it, they just didn't seem to understand.

In the states in W.A. it picked up every winery, the only one it picks up in the Uk is one about 500 miles south, ie France.
