Garmin or Navigon

Given a choice (and for the same amount) would you buy a refurbished Navigon 40 Essential or a new Garmin 205. Only ever used Tom Tom before so don't know how these two stack up.

Garmin - at least with a new unit you have warranty and their map update guarantee.

Just to let you know, Garmin acquired Navigon on 14th June.

Ididn't buy either of these two in the end. PC World has got a clearance sale on so I got a Garmin 1690 and quite impressed qith it so far.
