Bloody TomTom sucker won't stick !!!!
Discussion
I used to have a TT One and it was impossible to get the sucker mount to stay on the windscreen for an entire journey without it dropping off. I tried everything TomTom suggested (push hard, clean glass, slightly wet sucker), but nothing worked. To get around this I bought a bean-bag mount and superglued the sucker mount onto the bean-bag base. I could then attach/remove the TT device as needed.
Just bought a TT Start and having exactly the same problem with the sucker. I've bought another bean-bag mount but I can't glue the mount to it as it's permenently fixed to the TT device, it's not removeable.
I really don't want to add any solid fixing to the dashboard. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this bloody sucker to work? I thought about sticking it to the bean-bag base using velcro but I assume this will allow the TT device to vibrate too much as driving?
Cheers.

I've had 4 TomToms over the years and only one has failed to stick (after 2 years), and that was rectified with a new sucker mount. Mine's not even stuck to glass, it's stuck to the shiny dashboard trim, and it hasn't moved in about 10,000 miles, including on 'Ring trips and cobbled roads.
If you're sure it's the sucker and not your technique or the surface you're trying to stick it to, then you could try the air-vent kit.
To see if the sucker is damaged you can see if it stick to a window/mirror in the house.
