New Sat Nav Needed

My 3 year old Tomtom xl Europe 22 seems to have a short battery life and when plugged into my PC occasionaly comes up with sector errors so I think its best I replace it before it totally fails on me.
So which model would people recomend? I only really want to spend £100 and the new one needs to be compatable with Tyre so I can keep on making my own routes on my road trips.
