Garmin & Speed Cameras

I have just bought a new Garmin Nuvi 2495. Perhaps a daft question, but I can't find anything that tells me whether as part of the map updating process whether for the first year you get speed camera updates, or do you need to pay extra and subscribe from day one?

It is the 2495 LMT, it does have speed cameras installed, but just can't tell if they are up to date or will be updated in the first year.

AIUI from buying my 2495LMT recently the LMT suffix denotes (L)ifetime (M)aps & (T)raffic updates.

Speed camera updates from Garmin is a subscription service. £4.99 or a one off download or £19.99 for a 1 year subscription. They use the Cyclops speed camera database.
