SAT NAV DVD updates - beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beware of cheap suppliers of updates for SAT NAV data. Some are available for as little as £30-£40 and in my opinion for the simple reason that they're no good. I opted to buy an update from SAT-NAV updates in Plymouth.

Upon enquiring about data for my car they were quick as a flash - impressive you may think. Great service.

However the "update" isn't an update. no different to the DVD that was in the car already.

And despite the 100% guaranteed money back claims - will they reply to my requests for a refund? no of course not.

And when calling by phone - "the number cannot be connected"

numerous emails sent, all ignored.

So don't go for false economy, if you want to update your data in the Sat Nav, either go to the manufacturer or a decent provider, even if its a little more expensive.

I just bought a new 2013 Audi Teleatlas Europa DVD, that is crap too.
Petrol stations that closed 10 years ago are still listed in POI, despite me informing them a year ago on the teleatlas insight website after 2012 came out.. I was so disgusted, I copied it and flogged it on ebay.
