TomTom lifetime free maps - can't activate code!

Just bought a Start 25 for the missus. Got the activation code for free lifetime maps, but can't get it to work!

I open TomTom Home, sees the device OK, click Activate Code, get taken to a screen that tells me I need to install TomTom Home!!

Computer is running XP SP3, and TomTom Home managed to update all the maps and stuff yesterday, so I guess it's working OK.

I'd suggest check on TomTom Support or asking on TomTom forums (or Pocket GPS World's TomTom Forum)

Sorted now. Upgraded Flash Player, rebooted PC, code accepted.
I'd read elsewhere that the TomTom website was poor, and this kind of thing confirms it. Great at sat navs, rubbish at computers!
