After market head unit with android hook up

Looking to install a new double dinn head unit into my car.

I use an Android phone and I was thinking about mounting my phone etc but I was wondering if there was a head unit that I can use that will allow me to use googlemaps, receive calls & messages etc ... maybe even spotify although I could just steam that?!!?

There is "Android Auto", which I gather is an Android build intended for in-car use. Pioneer do some aftermarket head units with this, have a look here - http://www.pioneer-carglobal.com/en/AndroidAuto/

I've never used any of these so can't say how good they are but Pioneer stuff tends to be good.
