Adding DAB to the wife's car advice...

We have good DAB signal where we live and the wife is a bit fed up of either R1 or the local commercial station that is available so I thought adding DAB to her 2011 BMW X1 might be a nice idea.
She has the Pro Nav and knows how to use it so we don't want to go faffing around changing all that, so have people had much success with DAB to FM adaptors? Other option could potentially be some sort of iPhone App but although DAB coverage is good we are rural so 3/4G can be patchy. The Pro Nav takes care of all the hands free phone duties too so don't need any of that.
Something relatively easy to fit would be pleasant so I don't spend an entire day of the christmas holidays ripping her car to pieces.

I've recently fitted an Alpine EZI-DAB-GO into my 1 Series, which my wife is driving now. She was used to having DAB in her Fiat 500 before we swapped cars. The EZI-DAB-GO sticks on the windscreen and just needs power USB (but comes with an adaptor) and AUX input. It took me less than an hour to fit.
Why don't you just have the original BMW DAB retrofitted, has complete integration with the I-drive then (I have a 2010 X1 with DAB myself)

I had the BMW aftermarket DAB fitted to my 2011 Z4 (cost £299 or so in 2012).
It came with a separate remote rather than work through the iDrive so although it did work, it wasn't ideal. The aerial was stuck on the inside of the windscreen and didn't survive Autoglass making a hash of replacing the windscreen.
It also failed after about 18 months but as fitted by BMW it had a 2 year warranty so at least was replaced.
