Fiat tom tom sat nav

Hi all,
Would tom tom go that came with a fiat car work in any other make of vehicle?

A friend of mine was given the unit by someone who doesn't use it however it will need the proper lead and before he spends money on one, wondered if it would work.

I've had a brief look on the net but can't find any info!

Model detail are Tomtom Go 4sc01.
