odd radio issue

Any ideas what might be causing the following?

My car, Prius Plus (it's tax efficient & I have a lot kids), went to a body shop to get a smashed wing mirror sorted.

Got the car back and noticed today that the radio can only pick Heart (wiltshire) & BBC Radio Wiltshire. Have scanned through and nothing else is there....

I don't know where the Prius antenna is located but that would be my first check. They've probably disturbed the antenna wiring.

Most radios have two search settings, distant and local. Also TA and PTy search. Maybe these have been changed ?

Staff a the garage may have disturbed your settings when they were listening to radio 4

Have you got any chargers in the car?
These can really mess with FM and DAB signals.

Phone chargers, dash cams etc.

Antenna's on the roof so wouldn't have thought they'd gone near it.

nope, nothing like that in the car.

I'll have a play and see if this is it - otherwise insurance company can sort it.....

Iveco use the heating element in the mirror for an antennae (so signal is terrible). Perhaps the one on the roof is for GPS and your wing mirror isn't connected or missing the heating element?

Sure they didn't break your mirror and swap for a non heated one and now no aerial?

problem solved!

On looking at the car from above I can see that the aerial, that attaches to the fin bit, has come off!
