They're not that hard to do yourself. Depending on your fuse box location, it shouldn't take too long.

It would help knowing what area you're in too. Might be smaller companies that are good in local areas that PHers have used

Very simple to do yourself, if it's not something you're happy doing, Halfords will fit it for a price, whereabouts in the country are you?

It’s honestly so easy
Use a piggy back blade fuse to a switched fuse
Ground the neutral to any exposed bolt on the chassis near fuse box
Run the cable through the dash to the a pillar
All vag cars the a pillar trim pulls off usually there’s one T20 screw hidden under an airbag badge that pops off
Poke the cable under the headlining
Start at the camera so u don’t have loads of spare cable at the camera end
Don’t pay someone to do this it takes mi utes and is rewarding to do yourself

Having done a couple myself, and been an ICE installer in a previous life, saying it only takes a couple of minutes is a tad optimistic!! It's a good hour for most DIY people, especially with routing wires in modern cars!!

Google “install dashcam <name of car>” there will be a video guide on YouTube.

Installs are usually very easy on VAG cars due to the accessibility of the fuse panel.

Yeah that’s fair enough but it’s honestly so easy to do

i would just take a feed of the plug to the back of the cigarette lighter socket and that keeps the wire behind the dashboard
