Looking for a new GPS

Just sole my Ipaq and GPS jacket, and all my accessories.

Looking to replace them with a unit similar to a garmin V.

anyone used one of these ? or have any comments about them ?

Any suggestions as to which satnav system to buy?

Must have:
1. UK Satnav (+ European download option) in colour & 3D
2. Scamera and speed location alerts
3. self-powered (ie: runs on its own battery when disconnected from the car power for walking)
4. Pocketable - eg: flat (so no Tom Tom)
5. Bluetooth connectivity (although don't know why?!)

Any input appreciated!

I have TT5 mobile on a Nokia 6680, does all of the above

Anyone tried the Navman PiN570 yet? It doesn't have bluetooth a far as I can tell but everything else looks okay spec wise and you can get it for just under £250 (http://handtec.com/acatalog/Navman_Pin.html)

I have a Mitac Mio168 PDA which is the same as the Navman. Like the Navman it has a built in GPS receiver, probably because both PDA's are actually the same

It has an SD expansion slot which can take upto a 1Gb card but no WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity.

I really like the Mio 168 as it is neat, easy to carry, good battery life, locks onto upto 8 satellites and you have all the benefits of a PDA. Sure it isn't the most powerful PDA, but I bought it mainly for GPS and the peripheral PDA benefits such as Calender, Contacts, etc. It is also an MP3 player.

You can get a Mio 168 for approx £200 and this comes with the in car kit for battery charging and mounting on the windscreen.

I use Tom Tom Navigator 5 as the navigation package.

Thanks 993. Sounds like the Navman migt be the one to go for out of the two then as it includes Navman software in the £250. Cheapest I can find the Mitac with TomTom is £315.

I have a bluetooth receiver. Complete package costs approx £150 all in as a kit (excluding phone), or you can do it piece by piece for a lot less...
