ICE for Citroen C1
Discussion
I want to upgrade my Daughters car with a new head unit and speakers. Im pretty handy with wiring and speakers etc but not done this stuff for a while.
Ive seen this Android screen units for the Citroen C1 but fear they will sound sh't or wont be good for RCA or whatever outputs to an amp.
Im guessing also my easiest route is
Sony/Kenwood etc head unit
Upgrade front speakers Alpine
Sub in tiny rear boot some kind of bass tube active maybe or amp driven passive.
Any help or pointers appreciated!

Ok i pulled the trigger and did it all myself over the weekend.
So in the end i sorta went on what my daughter wanted over what i would have ultimately fitted.
Headunit
Personally i would have fitted a Sony or Kenwood normal head but my daughter wanted a screen so fitted this:

Front speakers
JBL Stage2 424 2-Way Car Speakers Set - 150 Watt JBL Car Audio 4 inch
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07QKV8RVT?ref=ppx_yo2...
Be aware the front speakers may well need modding quite easy to do, the standard Sh'itroen speakers have two mounts only so you need to snip in a curve the other two mount points for the speakers to fit.
Sub
Alpine SWT-12S4
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00H99ZZFA?ref=ppx_yo2...
I measured up and found this bass tube from Alpine is a snug fit in the boot!
Amp
Pioneer Amp 4 way 150watt (bridged in LPF for Sub only_) Pioneer GM-A4704 (about £110)
I can post some pics but basically all easy, the headunit was easy as it comes with a whole new console you just swap over the hazard and heat windscreen switches and it comes with a plethora adapters which make it so easy to plug n play, also RCA out's were easy and straight to the amp which i put under driver seat.
How does it sound?
Considerable improvement of course at the JBLs at the front being 2 way add some much needed high end clarity missing from the standard 1way 'full range' cone, and then you have the sub adding some considerable bass. The headunit sound quality is good via spotify on an iphone carplay or andoid equivalent.
I guess all in all cost me around £400 including Amp wiring kit took me a few hours, routing cables etc. I can supply pics or details of any questions you want. She's happy as and i must say for a little car with that sound it's good.
If it was mine i would have added some decent 6x9s on a solid rear shelf and an amp to drive them, and a slightly more old skool headunit. But hey all good.
