Amarok Digital Cockpit from AliExpress - Worth it?

Hey all! I'm curious if anyone has experience with those AliExpress virtual cockpit replacements for the Amarok?
There's one I've been eyeing on Ali:
The display looks pretty decent in the photos, but I'm a bit worried about two things: the bezel seems quite chunky, and I'm concerned about performance issues - you know how those budget Chinese Android head units can get pretty laggy.
Anyone have any real-world feedback?

Go and have a look on the T6 forum. It's a busy current topic. Yes, they're mega!!!
Minor issues with s/w, but there's been several updates since late last year when they came out.
One of the T6 chaps has been coordinating bugs with the vendor who has provided excellent support.
We all paid between £333 to about £380ish depending on the day from AliExpress.
