Coolant levels low
Discussion
Hi,
Another question regarding the Cayenne. I received an error that the coolant levels were low and I had to top up with quite a lot of G40, I think about 2 litres. I take this car abroad, the last time was in August 24, and there was some chugging on the autobahn and motorways for 7 h a time.
Is it normal for coolant to be topped up after such use, or is it indicating I need a good inspection of pipes and clips, etc.? I had a service centre apply pressure to the system and no leak was found, as I was told, but I feel it is unusual for this to happen. The levels have not dropped by a noticeable amount since topping up, but as I am taking the car to the Alps next month, I feel it is worth having more checks. Any suggestions?
