We’ve three cars that need dash cams, but all will be moved on fairly soon so I don’t want to spend a fortune. Nor do I want cables dangling.

Am I still better off speaking to our pet ICE people or is there a sensible alternative?

Cheers.

These are cheap and cheerful.

Run the cables in the roof headlining, down the rubber seal of the door frame, under the glovebox and into the 12v socket. Takes about 5 mins.

Thank you. I am not inclined to fit it myself however.

Crash for cash? biggrin

Halfords will fit a dashcam for c.£50 per car.

You do realise that you can take dashcams out and move them on to the next car, so it might be worth buying something decent?

Can you NOT post my plans on here please Dad FFS.

You've got a point on the quality option. But we may not own so many cars soon.
