Sony CDX-M1000TF car radio
Discussion
It was a "High end" headunit from Sony in the early 2000s.
I remember them being advertised for around £600.
However, when I say "High end", Sony were going through a bad patch back in the early 00s, their products being produced for the mass market with more show than go. The show in this case being the large TFT display, which is the sole reason for the justification of that price.
There is no fancy DAC, no time alignment and no real reason why anyone who is focusing on sound quality would buy it over a Pioneer or an Alpine.
However...it does look good, no doubt about that and it will appeal to someone for nostalgia reasons, similar to the Pioneer Dolphins.
Value, no idea, but this is the sort of things that pops up on Facebook car audio pages at £200, having being bought from a car boot, Facebook marketplace etc for £20.
