Hi all.
Long time no speak, and yes, another issue with my Farrari. I brought it back from a dealer after a while as it hadn't sold (due to the present market, or something), but only the return journey noticed that the aircon which was all good, now isn't, and simply blowing hot air. The cigarette lighter/s also not working, along with the DRL's, which I noticed a few days later. Has anyone had any experience of this as I'd like to deal with it personally before returning to the dealership showroom for them to deal with. I did notice on collection that they hadn't replaced the passenger footwell battery cover where they had obviously had the car on & off charge. I'm not certain that that's of any relevance, but thought I'd throw it in. My local mobile mechanic friend had a look after servicing my sons M4 BMW, but said he checked the fuse box behind the seats and all was OK.

I'm a bit confused, the F430 doesn't have DRLs and there is a connector for the battery trickle charger so you don't have to remove the battery cover. Two separate things admittedly. As for the aircon, perhaps it just needs a regas? No idea for the cigarette lighter though.Long time no speak, and yes, another issue with my Farrari. It does. I've owned this car for nearly five years and the led DRL's come on with the ignition. I know where the charger point is but for some reason unknown to me, the dealer has clearly been charging direct to the battery. From what i'm hearing, all three issues are connected. I just need to know if someone has had a similar issue and how they resolved the problem.
