Help please..CAR AMPLIFER FITTING OMODA 9
Discussion
After doing some reading online, I would like to install a Kicker KEY200.4 DSP amp into my Omoda 9 (it has the Sony sound system with factory amp). I understand the Kicker is designed to handle high-voltage signals and provide the correct resistance so the factory head unit doesn't mute or error out. I have attached a link below
Is the install possible in the car? I only want to amp the front door speakers a bit more. (4 channel)
Here’s the gist of what I was hoping could be done based on what I have read online.
Posi-Taps to get the signal from the factory Sony amp's speaker wires (located in the boot).
Is this the best way to ensure reversal if needed and to keep the car warranty intact?
Use Kicker KISL adapters to plug those taps into the Kicker amp via RCA. This way I believe no factory wires need to be cut? Is that right?
I was also told the RCA ends on the Kicker’s input harness could be cut and then be wired directly to the taps? Not sure if that is correct or not.
For Power, The 12V auxiliary battery is actually right there in the boot below the factory amplifier, so I am thinking that will be useful to run for power and ground?
Thanks!

Don't know about the Omoda, but for a Tesla I would have needed a delayed start relay for the amp, so that the boot-up diagnostic doesn't detect a power drain and think theres a problem. Between that and warranty worries I decided it was too much hassle. Might be hard to find specific info for the car.
