Rubber Boot Coming undone

Hi

I am having a recurring problem with rubber flange protecting the electric wiring feeding the boot of my car. It keeps coming undone, earlier this year it lead to an expensive repair on the wiring loom which broke.

Any ideas what is causing the rubber flange to pop out and how can I prevent it happening in the future?
