Garmin StreetPilot 2610 problems

I go on Mapsource, find the place I intend to go and then mark it as a waypoint.
I then send to the device, it finds it and then only has waypoints.
I send to the device, the device says it has transferred but it never goes onto my Garmin?
It restarts like it is supposed to but doesn't send any information?
It did this a while back but the other day I added a waypoint and it worked perfectly.
Anyone know what's going on?
