Looking at a purchase of a second satnav system and see that Navman have a good range and their new devices of the N40, N60 and the low-end N20 look good. Anyone have one or have any experiences with them? They get good reviews but I know of no one who has one....

Navman don't seem to grasp the idea of satnavs yet.

Seem to get quite a few problems with them, They wont hold their charge, their mapping data is naff as is the basic layout.

They also don't offer a whole lot for you're money.

Stick with Tomtom & Garmin, much better.

I have an F20 and have to say my initial impression was that it was great, but the longer I have it the more annoying it has got, it takes stupid routes and has no real alternative route option. The maps are rubbish it will try and take you through brick walls in order to get to places. If I was buying again It wouldnt be a Navman, saying that my Dads tomtom one stopped working altogether so it wont be one of them either.

Oh, that answers that then....

Strangely, I was in Halfrauds the other day and took a look at the N60i again. Looks like I will be getting a TomTom when I can get around to it.
