Hi Networx

I am currently looking at the PogoDrive. Any info you can pass on would be great! Currently use a TomTom Go 300 so a comparison with this unit would be beneficial for me.
Is there a manual available to view as well?

Thanks

OK, looks as though I have a third option (see my thread)

How does database compare with Blackspot/Enigma.

Have you any images within car, looks chunky from side? What cable options are supplied.

Hi,

Comparing databases the Pogo speed camera database has been running the longest of any manufacturer including Road Angel, Snooper etc, it is Origin Technologies who are the manufacturer of these units, they were awarded the Auto Express product honours in the past.

Let me know if you need any further information.

Thanks

Derek

Thanks for your help, I hope the Pogo will do the job, and with trade in on old RA Nav I'm very happy.

I just got a Pogo Drive today. I cannot believe that it doesn't come with an AC adpater?????????????????? The only way to charge it is using the in car cable which plugs into cigarette lighter. Problem with that is many modern day cars only power that feed if the ignition is on. Absolutely ludicrous. I need to find a 5V DC as that should work as a charger.

Also, haven't yet got a satellite signal because it takes a while and I haven't had time to sit in my car for that long.

Very nice unit though, very cool looking and compact but this hasn't been the best start.

Ok, update on this. I managed to find a 12V DC charger which does the job, so that solves that initial problem. When I registered the unit I did tell Origin it was ridiculous it doesn't come with a separate charger and the guy on the phone agreed and said they were going to make one available very shortly.

It picked up the GPS signal quite easily in the end and now when I power it up it picks up a signal quickly. I must say it really is an impressive unit and the safety camera side of it is excellent. I haven't used the nav side of it much yet but it is a little fiddly setting favourites etc. but I think that's only because I'm not used to the interface.

Anyone else got theirs with any thoughts?
