Anyone else had this situation?

I've a TomTom 710 with the traffic subscription (via GPRS, not radio) and a couple of times recently on my daily commute between Diss and Norwich it's flagged up a major tailback on the A140 between Pulham and the other side of Long Stratton - yet when I arrived on the scene of supposed tailback there was no traffic.

I originally thought that this might have been an earlier problem, but this morning I started my journey and for the first few miles it said there were no traffic incidents (several updates performed), then bonged and showed the same massive invisible tailback between the same two points.

Is it that unreliable generally?

Ive never found it much use.

I had a demo when it came out few years ago on TT3/PDA and it was crap then. Bought a 910 couple months ago and set up the free month. Its still crap and I turned it off before the month ran out.

Same issues as you, it would usually add a couple of hours to the estimated time for a 300 mile journey for jams that were normally not there or at least much shorter than indicated.
