Tom Tom Maps problem (Portugal)

I recently posted that I was going to Portugal on holiday & I was kindly sent a disc with some maps on by Chrisrs but unfortunately my Tom Tom will not recognise the maps? Not sure if this is because mine is the Navigator version on a PDA or what? I have successfully installed a map on it before so know i'm putting it in the right place.

Any idea's anyone? Or anyone else that has a copy for me.

TomTom Go are DOS based products, whereas navigator is Linux coded software. However, I'm sure I got a Go map to work with TT Navigator 5. (Shameless plug coming up...) I have two "spare" PDAs with Navigator 6 and fully functioning Western Europe (includes street level Portugal) map which I would be happy to sell. Unfortunately, TomTom has put coding in to prevent Nav 5 and Nav 6 maps being interchangeable, as well as preventing Go maps working with Navigator software. I can't send you the software as you would need to get an activation code from TomTom and there are already 3 codes for my software (I've got severe upgrade-itis!)

Just realised what a nobber I am as it turns out that I already have all the maps of Europe including one for Portugal on Cd's that came as a package when I upgraded to Navigator 5!!
