Hi,

My name is Chris and I work for a tv production company called Sevenstones Media. I am researching a driving documentary that will feature stories on the difficulties of navigating the ever more congested roads of the UK. We are interested in hearing tales of unusual directions administered by Sat Navs or poor interpretations of information by drivers. Does anyone know of rat runs that have been created through previously quiet areas or have any other interesting Sat Nav related info, good or bad that you would like to share?

Thanks for Your Time

Chris

I was going from near Stoke to Bradford and my SATNAV decided to take me cross country and eventually tried to take me up a road that was "not suitable for road vehicles".

Needless to say I didn't follow that direction (unlike some people you hear about).

nubbin.

Chris - you may not be aware that Pistonheads is part of Haymarket publishing, so it may be courteous to have a chat with them before going ahead with getting information from these fora. No offence intended, just for your information
