just wondered because as I go north passed the power station for around 10 miles it goes bonkers putting me in fileds trying re navigate every few seconds. Does it without fail. Anyone else have this? It works flawlessly everywhere else.

You must have Navigator 5 - Nav 6 updates to the new A1 route.

TomTom has ensured that you need to buy a whole new product by making the software non-interchangeable.

What device are you using it on?
If you go to tomtom shop and it asks you to choose your PDA/Mobile device, choose other.
You will then only get the maps update.

If you choose one of the devices on the list, you also get the tt6 software.

This link may work...
