I'm looking for a system which will accept a destination as a OS map reference.
Any recommendations

Some models made specifically for walking will do that, but I am not aware of any intended for use in a car that will.

The TT will take a lat/long and will show a lat/long for a point on a map. Unfortunately it will not take an NGR nor will it navigate where there is no road.
You can browse a map and zoom right in to find the spot you are interested in then set that as a destination or a waypoint.

Yes, the Garmin nüvi 660 will.

Select 'Where to?', then (press the down arrow to get the second page)'Coordinates', then 'Format', then 'British National Grid'.

Any of the Nuvi range will cope with OS grid references.

Blimey, that's something new I've learned today. Didn't think my 360 did, but having seen this post, I went and checked and you're right, it does.

Let's not forget that Garmin are a proper GPS manufacturer.

Do you want to sell it?

No. Was actually thinking of buying another one, so I don't have to keep swapping it from car to car.
