My Tom Tom One was having problems with it's voice (as in it just stopped making any sounds) so I was advised that a reset might sort it. Turn out that a gentle "bang" was as effective and we are now on speaking terms again.

However I was driving to the coast on Friday and accidentally ejected the SD card when I was trying to plug in the power lead. In doing so, the Tom Tom has lost all of it's POIs, recent destinations, speed camera warnings, home settings, favourites (grrrrr!), the lot. These were fine prior to accidentally ejecting the card.

Is there any way to restore these? Any idea why it happened? Anything to do with resetting? I tried another reset this morning and it's lost recent destinations again.

Thanks!

can't you just reload your back-up from TOM TOM home on your PC? (assuming you have backed it up)

mine did the same... try turn off turn on a few times!

but reprogram the route everytime because it will revert to last saved.
