TomTom One Not Recognised By TT Home

My TT1 is a week old and used twice. I tried to connect it to my computer to back up the card and download my free camera locations. The computer recognises an added device but TT Home keeps asking me to connect a device. I try to explore or open the card butit says the card is not formatted, would I like to format it now? I try the card in the card reader, same thing, not formatted.

It seems my card is duff.

What is the easiest way to sort this. TT support want me to send the unit back but due to being on business its difficult.

I am not happy!

I had the same problem with mine. The only way I could get it to work was to connect to my work computer and download all available updates. Then when I connected it to my home computer it was fine.

Returned the unit to Halfords. They confirmed that the card was duff.

They exchanged the unit and card, no questions, there and then.

Happy.
