[Hairy Cornflake]

Tried out my new sat nav this afternoon. Lasted 20 mins before I had a warning that it was too hot and the screen would be dimmed. Before I had chance to OK the warning vertical white lines appear on a black background. Immediately pull out the power cord. Get home, try the re-set switch, no use, flick the battery switch off and on, dead as a dodo.

Emailed the supplier, no probs, send it back and get a checked replacement. Bit of a bummer though!
