Garmin 2610 and Mapsource

Hi all

I have a Garmin 2610 with Mapsource and have had constant issues with it.

Firstly, if the unit is not powered up for a while it loses all the updated maps, meaning every time I use it I need to reload the maps on.

Secondly, Mapsource is utter rubbish. It is 2 years old and desite trying to find places and roads that have not changed in years it doesn't see them. This is despite having the postcode, street name, town, number etc etc

I was due the updated map software for free, so I phpned up, ordered it twice as they never delivered it, then when I complained they said I wasn't due it now as it had been too long.

I can see me selling this to go on ebay and getting a Tom Tom.

Any idea as to why I am struggling to find addresses?

Bugger, error between seat and keyboard.

It's up for sale though if someone makes a sensible, can post anywhere in the UK.
