MINI Cooper S Sat Nav [2004]

Hi

I have 2004 MCS with built in sat nav and a 2004 map on DVD from MINI which came with the car. Does anyone know if BMW maps can be used in the MINI or will they only take the MINI specific maps?

Also anyone know of any modifiers who can do something with the Sat Nav DVD player to make it play DVD movies etc while on the go?

There are definately updates available but I'm not too sure what they are as my S doesn't have sat nav so I've not really looked into it. However you will definately find the answer over on www.mini2.com

I have a 2003 MINI and when i moved to Holland i was given a disc out of a BMW X5 that was Benelux specific and it works fine
