Since my Navman 550 blew up I now need to find another sat-nav. I've seen a TTGo 910 (Euro & US full mapping) for £295.
Firstly is this a good price and secondly what are they like.
I hear a lot of people rave about them but also a lot of people say they're unreliable and have loads of software faults. Any advice much appreciated before I blow the cash...

£295 seems a good price. Bought mine in the new year sales and still paid over £300 and haven't seen any lower since.

Over the last 6 months I've had it crash once but other than that it has been very reliable.

The one thing you do need to do is download the latest software when you get it.

New range of TomToms out next month.

"TomTom GO 520/720  £270/£340 (estimated SRP)
If you’re thinking Sat Navs have advanced about as much as they can, think again. The new GO models (520 with maps of the UK and 720 for Europe) are packed with new features, with a distinct emphasis on safety. A ‘Help Me’ button can route you to important locations, give phone numbers for emergencies, and give you detailed first-aid instructions. Drive too long and you’ll be asked to take a break, and foreign drivers will get you a reminder of what side of the road to drive on. Text-to-speech technology once reserved for the top-end 910 is now accompanied by speech recognition on both models, so you speak the name of the city and street name you want to go to. The new Map Share service lets you improve the accuracy of the maps by making changes on the screen, with updates sent back for the benefit of other users. If that isn’t enough, you’ll even be able to record your own voice instructions!

Excellent! Where can I read more about this? Is there a new 920?
