Sun shade fot Tom Tom?

Had my 710 for a month and its really good except that its difficult to see the screen in bright sunlight.
Last week driving up from the med I taped on a cardboard "hood" to stop the sun shining onto the screen and that was a lot better.
Anyone else had this problem and come up with a solution?
