Will Frenchie BIBs nick my Sat Nav

Off to France in a few weeks and I know that the Frenchie BiBs will confiscate any sort of speed camera detector. I have a Tom Tom One and I haven't yet loaded any speed camera sites onto it, still relying on the mark one eyeball, two of.

My question is does any one have experience of being stopped by Frencie BiBs when they've had their Sat Nav on display. Have the BiBs given it the once over checking for speed camera alerts or ignored it?

TomTom is fine, it's laser/radar detectors that you will be in deep poo for.

I think that Switzerland have decided to ban POIs though?
