tomtom 510 - how to switch off automatically

I leave my tomtom velcroed to the dashboard and plugged in to the ciggie lighter. It switches on automatically when you start the car, however when you remove the ignition key it remains on . Is there a way to get it to switch off automatically. Or will i have to switcch it off manually every time ?

I live in Hong Kong where car radio theft is virtually non existant . Oh the tomtom HK map for 40 euros has no POI and no speed cameras. Quite a shock!
