Tom Tom One - Couple of quick questions

I want a satnav/speed camera warning device that will allow me to plot my own routes. I understand that the Tom Tom One will do this.

How easy is to plot a route with the Tom Tom One. I dont want to just go from A to B, i want to determine my own route, with maybe 15 waypoints, and have the system guide me along it.

Can a route be plotted, say on a laptop, and then be downloaded?

Can a route be saved whilst on a journey?

Is there a better device to use for this?

Well its certainly easy to plan a multi stop trip as they have an Iternary Planning option where you just add the various destinations one by one
